Life Begins At Conception

What a historical mark year 1973 was in America’s moral decline! That’s pretty much when “not being able to discern right from wrong” started germinating and continued to grow until now that “wrong appears or even feels right” for all of those who deliberately chose to follow their own ways, instead of God’s.

On January 22, 1973, the Supreme Court issued a decision into law, stating that women in the United States had a fundamental right to choose having an abortion, without government restrictions.

And on December 28, 1973, President Richard Nixon signed the Endangered Species Act into law, which is one of the most significant and influential laws of American history.

Which is why I decided to write this page. A criminal or civil violation against an endangered specie, which includes the unhatched eggs of that particular specie, may result in imprisonment and a fine of up to $100,000. Yet, some people still seem to have a hard time understanding when a human life begins!

Furthermore, now that we know the trigger instructing heart muscle cells to contract are able to become coordinated enough in order to produce a heartbeat as early as 16 days after conception, what other proof do we need in order to value fetal life? This claim is based on a study under Paul Riley, a professor at the British Heart Foundation, at the University of Oxford.

Psalm 139: 13-16 says, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” This verse makes it perfectly clear that God has a vision for each individual way before they are born.

God continues to knit His masterpiece into every human being while still in the womb. God help us when we decide to kill an unborn child while God is in the process of designing a specific plan and purpose for that child! I pray this piece broadens your understanding involving the abortion laws, especially now that we are expected to determine each individual state’s abortion laws. It is up to us to stand up for the unborn!

Blessings…
